Job summary

Uxbridge College is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled professional to join the Construction team to coordinate and deliver the curriculum, teaching across a range of Electrical Installation programmes. You will ensure assessment integrity and quality aligns with awarding bodies and internal standards.

The role requires a Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation, an Assessor TAQA Level 3 qualification, and a Level 5 teaching qualification (or working towards it with college support).

• Experience in Electrical Installation industry
• Good planning and organisational skills
• Experience with curriculum planning and development

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support the development and delivery of the curriculum and teach across a range of programmes.

Reporting to the Section Manager for Construction, you will co-ordinate and support the development and delivery of the curriculum and teach across a range of programmes.You will also work ensure that the quality of learners' work and assessment decisions meet the required academic and awarding body standards. We are seeking an enthusiastic professional who can demonstrate:

• Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation (NVQ or equivalent)
• Assessor qualification (TAQA Level 3 or equivalent)
• Full Level 5 teaching qualification that is recognised within the Further Education sector, or working towards/willing to achieve this with support of the College
• Successful teaching experience in Electrical Installation
• Experience of working in the Electrical Installation industry
• Some experience in curriculum planning and development
• Good planning and organisational skills
