Job summary

The Club Company is seeking an experienced and passionate Course Manager to join our team at The Warwickshire Golf & Country Club. You will oversee the upkeep of the golf course and Clubhouse grounds, lead a team of Greenkeepers, and manage external contractors to keep turf, irrigation and facilities in peak condition.

Working closely with the Club General Manager, you will help plan budgets, develop training, and implement safety policies to ensure exceptional golfing experiences for members

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in agronomy, horticulture or plant science desirable.
• Min. Level 3 in Greenkeeping or Horticulture or Agronomy.
• Previous supervisory experience in a club or golf course setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Greenkeepers and supervise course maintenance.
• Oversee turf care, irrigation, landscape and Clubhouse grounds to high standards.
• Collaborate with the Club General Manager on budgets, training plans and safety policies.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Course Manager to join our team and ensure the upkeep of the golf course and its facilities, including the Clubhouse grounds, landscaping and all associated equipment. You will be responsible for maintaining the Club’s golf assets to the highest standards, ensuring safety and security at all times.

In this role, you will lead a team of Greenkeepers, oversee the maintenance and development of the golf course and manage relationships with external contractors. You will also ensure that all aspects of the course, from turf care to irrigation, are in optimal condition. Additionally, you will work closely with the Club General Manager to manage budgets, develop training plans and implement safety policies.

Experience & Skills Required

• Bachelor’s degree in agronomy, horticulture or plant science desirable; or

Schedule

• We operate a 7-days a week business, between 0600 to 2300
• Shift patterns will vary as per business requirements and encompass all opening hours - weekends and bank holidays
