Job summary

CitySprint, a UK-wide logistics business, is recruiting an Operations Controller in London East. You will manage day-to-day courier resources within the Service Centre to keep deliveries and collections running smoothly and to meet customer SLAs.

You'll work with the Service Centre Manager and Operations Manager in a KPI‑driven environment focused on service, safety and performance. DBS check is required for all successful candidates.

This is a permanent, full-time role with 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Experience in operational, logistics, or customer-focused environments.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with KPIs and real-time decision making.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day courier resources in the Service Centre.
• Ensure deliveries and collections meet customer SLAs.
• Monitor courier performance and take corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records in CityTrak / X-Despatch.
• Assist onboarding and compliance of couriers.
• Plan for peak periods and drive performance improvements.
• Maintain a safe, orderly working environment.
