Berry Recruitment is seeking a Courier Driver to work for a local authority based in Southampton city centre.

This is a contract role starting as soon as possible until the end of September 2024, with a possibility of extension.

Working hours are Monday to Thursday from 07:30 to 16:00 and Friday from 07:30 to 15:30, with an hourly pay rate of £12.59.

Applicants must hold a full, current driving license, as you will be driving a transit van.

Main Duties include:

• Working in a team of two to assist in the efficient collection of on-street and off-street parking fees, Itchen Bridge, and other cash collections across the city, delivering them to the Bulk Cash Processing office. This role involves being the main driver for collections.
• Delivering change and other items to various city locations as required.
• Ensuring scheduled daily collections are completed promptly and fully.
• Safely loading, unloading, and transporting collections to the cash office.
• Providing high-quality customer service by assisting the public with queries related to parking charges and machines.
