Job summary

Lincolnshire County Council is seeking an experienced Team Manager to provide countywide leadership and operational support across our Mental Health Service. This fixed-term role extends up to 12 months and will work with three established Team Managers to ensure high-quality service delivery and positive outcomes.

You will lead a team of practitioners, promote independence, manage complex cases, and collaborate with partners to improve services.

Qualifications

• Professional in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Nursing with HCPC/NMC registration.
• Minimum of two years post-qualification experience in health or adult social care.
• Experience leading, supervising, or managing teams.
• Knowledge of Adult Social Care legislation including the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, safeguarding and related frameworks.
• Experience managing complex cases and promoting positive risk-taking.
• Excellent communication, partnership-building and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of practitioners responsible for delivering statutory duties in adult social care.
• Promote independent living and strength-based practice within place-based services.
• Oversee risk management, safeguarding, and complex case review processes.
• Collaborate with commissioners and partners to improve service delivery and outcomes.
• Drive performance and efficiency improvements across the area of responsibility.
• Foster staff development through coaching and mentoring; ensure high-quality customer service.
