Manpower UK in Grimsby is recruiting a reliable FLT Counterbalance Driver to join a busy operation. Your role involves operating Counterbalance forklift trucks, supporting warehouse and yard activities, and ensuring safe movement of materials across site.

We offer flexible hours between 6am and 10pm, overtime opportunities, and development prospects. Own transport is essential due to the location, with an emphasis on teamwork and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (RTITB, ITSSAR, NPORS or equivalent).
• Experience operating Counterbalance Forklift Trucks in warehouse/logistics.
• Willing to assist with general operative tasks and manual handling as required.
• Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible hours including shifts between 6am and 10pm.
• Own transport essential due to site location.

Responsabilités

• Operate Counterbalance Forklift Trucks safely and efficiently within warehouse, yard, and operational environments.
• Load and unload vehicles, trailers, containers, and storage areas.
• Transport materials between locations across site.
• Assist with loading, unloading, transfer, storage, and positioning of goods.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and pre-use checks.
• Ensure loads are secured and handled safely.
• Coordinate with supervisors, warehouse personnel, production teams, and transport providers.
• Support stock management and storage activities.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and cleanliness.
• Undertake general warehouse, yard, and operative duties as required.
• Follow all health, safety, and site procedures at all times.
