Job summary

Manpower are recruiting for a reliable FLT Counterbalance Driver in Scunthorpe. The role involves operating Counterbalance Forklift Trucks and supporting warehouse, yard and production activities to keep goods moving safely.

There are flexible hours between 6am and 10pm, with overtime and weekend work available. A valid Counterbalance forklift licence is essential, and own transport is preferred due to location.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance forklift licence and experience in a warehouse/industrial setting.
• Able to operate safely in fast-paced environments.
• Willing to work flexible hours and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate Counterbalance Forklift Trucks safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload vehicles, trailers, containers, and storage areas.
• Transport materials between locations across site.
• Assist with loading, unloading, transfer, storage, and positioning of goods.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report faults promptly.
• Ensure loads are secured and handled safely to maintain efficiency.
• Collaborate with teams to coordinate workload and material movements.
• Support stock management and maintain housekeeping standards.
