The Best Connection are recruiting for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our client based in Scunthorpe. This is a busy industrial environment where safety and reliability are essential.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 07:30am - 4:30pm with paid overtime after 40 hours. A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence is essential and full site training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Qualifications

• Counterbalance forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload vehicles and materials.
• Transport products and stock around site.
• Supply production areas with raw materials.
• Assist with stock movement and storage.
• Carry out daily forklift checks and report defects.
• Support bagging line and production operations when required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Follow all site health and safety procedures.

COUNTERBALANCE FORKLIFT DRIVER - SCUNTHORPE

The Best Connection are recruiting for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our client based in Scunthorpe.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual to join a busy industrial operation. If you hold a

valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence and are looking for a varied, hands-on role with long-term opportunities, we'd love to hear from you!

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30am - 4:30pm

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

Overtime: £19.07 per hour after 40 hours worked

This role is based within a

very dusty and dirty industrial environment due to the nature of the product being handled. Candidates must be comfortable working in these conditions and wearing any required PPE provided.

Duties Include:

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading vehicles and materials
• Transporting products and stock around site
• Supplying production areas with raw materials
• Assisting with stock movement and storage
• Carrying out daily forklift checks and reporting defects
• Supporting bagging line and production operations when required
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Following all site health and safety procedures
• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (Essential)
• Previous Counterbalance Forklift experience preferred
• Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting
• Able to work at heights when required
• Comfortable working in confined spaces
• Comfortable working in a dusty and dirty industrial environment
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Reliable and able to work as part of a team
