South West Recruitment is recruiting a Counterbalance forklift driver for a global food packaging company in Poole. This is a permanent role with a Counterbalance License essential; full training will be provided for a committed candidate to operate a Bendi truck.

The role pays £14.61 per hour including shift allowance, for 42 hours per week. After training, shifts rotate across days and nights in a 4-week cycle, with a total of 48 hours in the first week and 36 in the second week.

Qualifications

• Counterbalance license is essential.
• Full training will be provided for Bendi (Pivot) truck.

Responsibilities

• Move and store materials around the site and assist with despatch preparation.
• Record stock movements using RF handheld computers to maintain accurate inventory.
• Ensure safe operation of forklifts and compliance with site procedures.
