Job summary

The Best Connection are recruiting a Counterbalance Forklift Operative to work at their Bermondsey site in Southeast London. You will operate a 4.5T counterbalance forklift and assist with warehouse duties, including unloading and stacking pallets.

Hours are 08:00–17:00, Monday to Friday, with pay at £14 per hour. The role offers weekly pay, pension provision and holiday pay; temp-to-perm opportunities may arise after 12 weeks.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a 4.5T counterbalance forklift.
• Certification and ability to operate a counterbalance forklift.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 4.5T counterbalance forklift.
• Assist with warehouse duties including stock unloading and pallet stacking.
• Unload deliveries using a forklift and comply with health and safety procedures.

The Best Connection are working with our client to recruit a counterbalance forklift Operative to work at their new site based in Bermondsey, Southeast London.

We are looking for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operative to work on an ongoing basis as our client opens and begins to run their new unit based within Bermondsey, South East London.

Responsibilities of the Counterbalance Forklift Operative will include but not be limited to

• Operating a 4.5T counterbalance forklift
• Assisting with warehouse duties including stock unloading, sorting and manual handling
• Using an FLT to help unload deliveries and stack pallets
• Adhering to all health and safety Operations on a day-to-day basis

Requirements of the Counterbalance of the Forklift Operative

• Ability to travel to Bermondsey, Southeast London Independently
• Certification and experience using a Counterbalance Forklift
• Ability to work as part of a wider team environment
• Flexibility to work additional hours as and when required

Hours of work

Will be 08:00-17:00 on a Monday to Friday basis.

Rates of pay

£14 per hour
