Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting for a Counterbalance Fork Lift Operative to join our client near Bedford for night shifts. You will move materials with a Counterbalance forklift and assist with labouring in a yard/production setting.

The role runs 23:00–08:00, Monday to Friday, with a pay rate of £15.29 per hour and potential progression to permanent employment. A valid Counterbalance licence is preferred, and you must be able to commute to the shift location.

Qualifications

• Experience in labouring and production environments.
• Willingness to work night shifts in a yard/production setting.
• Following health and safety protocols at all times.

Responsibilities

• Carry out yard/production site and warehouse housekeeping as required.
• Complete health and safety checks and record keeping as required.
• Manual Handling and lifting up to 25kg.
• Operate Counterbalance Forklift to move stock and equipment safely.
