Job summary

HRGO Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our client in Chartham, Canterbury. This is a great temporary-to-permanent opportunity offering full-time hours, with an immediate start available for the right candidate.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking and safety-conscious, with previous forklift experience. You will operate a Counterbalance Forklift, load and unload pallets, and manage stock alongside routine warehouse

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence is essential.
• Experience operating a forklift in a warehouse/logistics environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Own transport preferred due to location.
• Flexible with shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a Counterbalance Forklift.
• Load and unload pallets of fruit.
• Move stock around the warehouse and yard.
• Assist with stock control and inventory management.
• Complete general warehouse duties as required.
• Follow all health & safety procedures and company policies.
• Support with manual handling tasks when needed.

Location: Chartham, Canterbury

Pay: £13.43 per hour

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Hours: 7:00am starts, with potential 12-hour shifts. 5 days per week, including at least one weekend day.
