Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a Counterbalance FLT Driver / Production Operative to join a busy food business in Dunkeswell.

This is a varied, hands-on role with forklift driving making up around 15% of the working day. There are generally two FLT drivers on duty, so you will be expected to work wherever needed across the operation. The position offers a 4-day week, weekends off, and a temp-to-perm opportunity with on-site parking and pension.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence required (RTITB/ITSSAR or equivalent).
• Recent Counterbalance FLT experience preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail in a food business.
• Own transport due to location.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Counterbalance FLT as required.
• Build pallets and move stock safely around site.
• Wash IBCs and complete paperwork/checks accurately.
• Move stock and raw materials in/out of the unit.
• Support warehouse and production teams with other duties as needed.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety and housekeeping.

What We Offer

£15.47 per hour.

£23.20 per hour overtime after 38 hours.

4-day working week, with one fixed weekday off each week.

Key Duties

Operate a Counterbalance FLT when required.
