Job summary

Elliotts UK is looking for a friendly, customer-focused Sales Assistant at the Bishops Waltham branch. You will help trade and retail customers with a wide range of building materials, on the shop floor and at the counter.

The role involves stock ordering, merchandising, price negotiation, answering phone queries, taking orders, and providing first-class service. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to use Microsoft Windows.
• Knowledge of building industry products would be advantageous with training provided.

Responsibilities

• Serving customers (trade and retail) on the counter with a wide range of building materials.
• Ordering stock and merchandising the shop.
• Negotiating prices.
• Providing back up answering the telephone in the sales office.
• Taking orders and responding to customer queries.
