Job summary

An organisation supporting children and young people is seeking compassionate counsellors in Swindon. Sentio Inclusive Ltd is looking for dedicated and compassionate counsellors to join an organisation in Swindon. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and demonstrate a commitment to supporting children and young people in their personal growth and development.

As a counsellor, you will be responsible for creating and implementing care plans tailored to the unique needs of clients, while also providing guidance and support throughout their journey.

We have part‑time and full‑time posts available: Part‑time positions are 22.5 hours per week across three days; full‑time positions are 37.5 hours per week across five days.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement personalised care plans for children and young people.
  • Provide one‑on‑one counselling sessions, offering support, guidance and resources to clients facing various challenges.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date client records using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations.
What we need from you
  • Experience in a counselling role or related field, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in IT systems for record keeping and communication.
  • Background in developing care plans or similar frameworks, and experience working with children and young people who have experienced trauma.
