Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Assistant Cost Accountant to support the costing function, focusing on PLICS, activity data and unit costs to improve value and efficiency across the trust.

The role involves data collection, validation, costing methodology, national submissions, benchmarking and responding to costing queries from clinical divisions and corporate departments. Flexible working requests will be considered.

Qualificações

• Experience with PLICS and patient-level costing in healthcare.
• Ability to analyse cost drivers and activity data.
• Strong data validation and financial modelling skills.

Responsabilidades

• Support the maintenance and development of PLICS and costing data quality.
• Provide costing insights to support decision-making across clinical divisions and corporate directorates.
• Assist with national costing submissions, Service Line Reporting and related costing queries.
