Are you a talented and ambitious Cost Manager looking to work on exciting infrastructure projects that can change the world, projects that are always more complex and innovative than the last?

We are looking for experienced Cost Managers to support our growth plans, working with key infrastructure clients, particularly in the rail sector in the Northwest and Midlands, supporting the delivery of their capital projects and programmes. You will join an established team of experts passionate about innovation and delivering cutting-edge solutions.

As a Cost Manager within our Infrastructure team, you will provide comprehensive, accurate, and value-driven services for large, high-profile clients in the rail sector. Opportunities also exist to work across sectors including highways, water, and power throughout the UK.

The role covers all aspects of cost management throughout the project lifecycle, from inception to completion. It also offers opportunities to support business growth and team development within the Northwest and Midlands regions.

Here’s what you’ll do

Duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Deliver all aspects of cost management from project inception to completion.
  • Maintain high standards of professional competence and demonstrate this in dealings with clients and contacts, enhancing the company's profile.
  • Drive performance and technical excellence through communication and effective use of performance management processes and technical networks.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with clients, promoting the company's reputation as a provider of quality services.
  • Support internal teams and manage junior staff on complex projects.
  • Develop marketing opportunities and coordinate with Directors and Business Development to pursue new business leads.
Qualifications

What we’re looking for:
  • At least three years’ experience in Cost Management/Quantity Surveying, ideally on large infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC4 contracts, especially PSC and ECC.
  • Experience working in collaborative, multi-organization teams.
  • Experience working directly with clients or through secondment arrangements is beneficial.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and grow the workload/portfolio.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
  • MRICS accreditation or working towards it.
