Pick Everard invites an experienced Cost Manager to join our Birmingham team. You will lead cost management across diverse sectors, ensuring accurate estimates, robust cost planning and clear reporting.

Qualifications

• A relevant qualification and/or demonstrable experience in Cost Management within a consultancy environment.
• Proven experience managing projects across the built environment including cost planning and post-contract cost management.
• Strong understanding of standard building contracts (JCT/NEC).
• Experience liaising with stakeholders at all levels and delivering high-quality reports.

Responsibilities

• Support the successful delivery of projects across education, healthcare and heritage sectors with values from 5m to 250m.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates, bills of quantities, contract docs and project reports.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and ensure high service standards.
• Act as a key contact for clients and manage projects from inception to completion.
• Manage day-to-day project planning, programming and coordination.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and best practices.
