Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Cost Manager/Cost Consultant to join our UK Infrastructure practice, supporting a range of client and internal projects. You will liaise with clients, manage contracts, monitor costs and forecasts, and drive value engineering across programmes.

You will work within an integrated team to deliver successful outcomes, manage changes, and ensure governance. This role offers exposure to major infrastructure initiatives across the UK.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant subject preferred.
• Professional body membership preferred or in progress.
• Experience with NEC3 and contract management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establishing friendly, professional relationships with clients and teams.
• Administering contracts in line with objectives and policies.
• Providing accurate cost monitoring and reporting to budget.
• Managing cost variance and cash flow; ensuring timely applications.
• Collaborating with client and contractor teams on KPIs and value engineering.
• Managing contract change within governance and best practices.
• Driving forecast and budget accuracy improvements.
• Providing sound commercial support to stakeholders.
• Negotiating final accounts.
• Leading people and commissions as needed.
