Job summary

ERSG Ltd is recruiting a Cost Manager – Renewable Energy for Scotland on a contract basis. You will oversee cost control across multiple offshore/renewable projects, delivering VOWD, forecasts, and variance analyses, and presenting findings at cost reviews. Location is Glasgow/Aberdeen/Inverness/Perth with hybrid working (roughly 50% office-based).

Qualifications

• Experience in cost management or cost control within renewable energy, offshore wind, energy, or major infrastructure projects.
• Ability to manage costs across multiple projects and regions.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Cost Manager – Renewable Energy | Scotland | Contract

I’m currently recruiting 2 x Cost Managers for a major energy client, supporting a portfolio of projects within their offshore/renewable energy business.

Location: Glasgow, Aberdeen, Inverness or Perth

Hybrid: Ideally 50% office-based

Start: ASAP

Contract: Up to 31 March 2027

The role:

You’ll be responsible for managing cost control activities across multiple projects, including:

• Value of Work Done (VOWD)
• Cost forecasting and reporting
• Variance analysis and presenting findings at cost reviews
• Working closely with contract management and wider project stakeholders
• Providing actionable commercial and cost insights
• Supporting continuous improvement and developing more effective cost control processes

Ideally, you'll have experience in cost management or cost control within renewable energy, offshore wind, energy or major infrastructure projects.
