Job summary

SolvTalent, on behalf of a leading UK hospitality operator, is seeking a client-side Quantity Surveyor to own commercial decisions across a national portfolio.

You will report to the Head of Capital Projects, manage budgets and cost plans, and collaborate with senior stakeholders to deliver value for money and successful project delivery across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying or Cost Management.
• MRICS status or working towards MRICS.
• Experience in hospitality, retail, leisure or multi-site operator is highly relevant.

Responsibilities

• Take commercial ownership of a varied portfolio of capital projects.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts and cost plans.
• Support acquisition feasibility and development appraisals.
• Review project performance and identify emerging commercial risks.
• Manage external Quantity Surveyors, consultants and contractors.

Are you looking for a client-side Quantity Surveyor position where you can influence investment decisions rather than simply report on costs?

A leading UK hospitality operator is expanding its property team to support an exciting programme of acquisitions, developments and investment across its national estate.

Reporting to the Head of Capital Projects, you will take commercial ownership of projects from early feasibility through to final delivery. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, influence how capital is invested and help create the commercial standards and benchmarking information that will guide future projects.

We are looking for a commercially astute Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager with approximately three to five years’ experience. You may already be chartered or working towards MRICS status.

Experience within hospitality, retail, leisure or another multi-site operator would be particularly relevant.
