Job summary

Amentum in the United Kingdom is recruiting a Cost Engineer to support major energy frameworks. You will work with SME, Operations Managers and the Framework Service team to manage cost, risk, and change across projects, with hybrid working across Knutsford or Warrington offices.

You will bring experience in engineering lifecycles, budgeting, and data reporting, and you will communicate across management levels to deliver robust financial insights that support project decisions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of HNC/HND in an Engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
• Experience across project and programme lifecycle: Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation/Commissioning.
• Ability to reconcile cost information within programmes of work.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage framework projects to include risk, change, resources and cost per Amentum standards.
• Lead cost management activities for major frameworks across the Energy Division.
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts, Operations Managers and Framework Service team.
• Support hybrid working across Knutsford or Warrington offices and travel as needed.
