Cost Engineer - Feltham - Salary up to £28,000 + Bonus + Benefits - Ref 1909

I am currently recruiting for a Cost Engineer to work for a leading engineering organisation based in Feltham. Salary up to £28,000 + Bonus & Benefits.

The organisation is an industry leader within their field, delivering world-class products into a specialist market. They have a team of highly motivated individuals who are extremely driven and pride themselves on delivering their innovative portfolio of products and engineering expertise to clients across the globe.

Due to expansion in demand for their product range, the organisation seeks to appoint a Cost Engineer on a permanent basis.

Role Responsibilities:

• Serve as a key link between production and sales teams.
• Utilise the company's ERP system to generate quotes and cost estimates for a wide range of products.
• Work closely with the Sales team to receive leads, estimate BOM and labour costs, and assist in securing new business.
• Prepare detailed cost analyses for projects and hand over to the Production team for manufacturing.
• Attend weekly non-conformance meetings to review product performance, conduct root cause analysis, and identify improvements or potential failures.
• Create part numbers and manage ECN/ECR processes for obsolete components.

Ideal Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Cost Engineer, Sales Engineer, Proposals Engineer, Estimator, or similar role.
• Experience in the Manufacturing industry, preferably Metal.
• Knowledge of BOM and ERP systems.
• Mechanical background or experience.
