Job summary

Rullion Ltd. is seeking an experienced Cost Controller to support major infrastructure, defence and construction projects across the UK. You will monitor budgets, manage costs and provide accurate forecasts to help project decisions.

Working with project managers and commercial teams, you will maintain cost control systems, analyse variances and contribute to timely reporting. The role offers hybrid/onsite work depending on project needs and the chance to develop expertise in a collaborative

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Cost Control or a similar project controls role.
• Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and cost performance reporting.
• Understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Strong Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills.
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in infrastructure, defence, construction or engineering projects (desirable).
• Familiarity with cost control software and NEC contracts (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Monitor project budgets, expenditures and forecasts.
• Maintain cost control systems, records and reporting procedures.
• Prepare cost reports, accruals and financial forecasts.
• Analyse cost variances, trends, risks and opportunities.
• Support Earned Value Management (EVM) and performance reporting.
• Collaborate with project managers, finance and commercial teams.
• Support change control and budget management.
• Identify opportunities to improve cost control processes.
