Job summary

Rullion is seeking a Cost Controller for a 6-month contract in Bristol. You will maintain integrated cost reporting across a portfolio of projects and support the development of tools and processes used to generate this output, ensuring junior staff deliver accurate, timely cost data for project managers and customers.

The role requires experience with SAP data extraction, cost reporting, invoicing, EVM and cashflow, and offers hybrid/remote flexible working with up to 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Experience on large-scale, complex projects.
• Ability to structure and manage SAP project data.
• Proficient in extracting data and producing cost reports.
• Experience with cost management activities and invoicing.
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM), cashflow, and variances.

Responsibilities

Role information

The Cost Controller is responsible for maintaining integrated cost reporting and associated artefacts across a portfolio of projects, as well as supporting the development of the tools and processes used to generate this and supporting outputs. These outputs will be one of the core project controls outputs in support of project management and customer/business reporting requirements, and the role is responsible for ensuring that all outputs produced by junior staff that feed into this are of suitable quality and timely.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience of working on large scale complex projects
• Manage the structure and content of SAP projects including creating projects
• Utilise SAP to extract data and produce cost reports across the project portfolio
• Provide interrogation, assurance and enhanced analysis of cost data on projects, providing consolidated assessments to project, programme and portfolio managers
• Development of estimates and costings for tender projects and maintain centralised supporting data
• Support the implementation and production of project cost management activities and reporting including invoicing, variations, cost vs. budget/price, EVM, cashflow
