IT Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Cost Controller for a Brighton-based role with on-site two days a week and remote work three days. You will own cost control across major infrastructure projects, delivering accurate budgets, forecasts and monthly cost reports to support programme governance.

Qualificações

• Solid experience in cost management across major infrastructure or capital projects.
• Strong forecasting, budgeting and financial reporting experience.
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM), CPI and EAC.
• Advanced Excel skills and cost-management software such as Prism or Hexagon EcoSys.
• Experience working with NEC contracts.
• Professional qualifications such as AACE, APM or ACostE would be desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Take ownership of project cost control across major infrastructure projects, ensuring budgets, forecasts and financial reporting are accurate throughout the lifecycle.
• Monitor project performance, manage cost forecasts and provide clear financial insight to support programme delivery.
• Produce detailed monthly cost reports and support Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Commercial teams and external contractors to ensure robust cost control and governance.
• Identify cost variances and support governance across multiple projects and reporting cycles.
• Maintain financial performance and provide robust reporting to senior stakeholders.

Cost Controller wanted by a leading infrastructure organisation delivering major capital projects across the South East. This role is based in Brighton 2 days per week and offers a great opportunity to support a high-profile programme of infrastructure investment.

This Cost Controller role will see you taking ownership of project cost control across major infrastructure projects, ensuring accurate budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle. You will be responsible for monitoring project performance, managing cost forecasts and providing clear financial insight to support successful programme delivery.

As a Cost Controller, you will manage project budgets, commitments and Estimate at Completion (EAC), produce detailed monthly cost reports and support Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting. This role will also see you working closely with Project Managers, Commercial teams and external contractors to ensure robust cost control, change management and programme governance. You will play a key role in maintaining financial performance across multiple projects, producing accurate reporting, identifying cost variances and supporting programme governance throughout delivery.

• Solid experience in cost management across major infrastructure or capital projects
• Strong forecasting, budgeting and financial reporting experience
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM), Cost Performance Index (CPI) and Estimate at Completion (EAC)
• Advanced Excel skills and experience using cost management software such as Prism or Hexagon EcoSys
• Experience working with NEC contracts
• Strong analytical, reporting and stakeholder management skills
• Professional qualifications such as AACE, APM or ACostE would be desirable

This role offers a salary of up to £55k plus good benefits, based in Brighton (on site 2 days per week, wfh 3 days).
