Sizewell C Limited is seeking a Cost Assurance Assistant to join the Civil Works Alliance (CWA) team. You will help protect the project budget and cash flow by supporting the Independent Cost Verifier, reviewing costs, and ensuring records align with contract rules.
Working with seasoned finance professionals on a large-scale nuclear construction, you will gain experience in cost reporting, forecasting, financial controls, and business partnering for delivery on time and within budget.
Cost Assurance Assistant Opportunity with the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), Supporting Sizewell C
As part of the CWA (Civil Works Alliance), you will support the building of Sizewell C. Sizewell C will be a 3.2-gigawatt power station generating low‑carbon electricity for around 6 million homes and will play a key role in our energy future, supplying reliable, clean electricity for at least 60 years.This role will be within theCWA Wide Section.
The Cost Assurance Assistant helps protect the project budget and cash flow. He will support the Independent Cost Verifier team who will review costs, check invoices, and make sure all financial records match contract rules. This work supports safe, on-time, and within-budget delivery of complex nuclear building tasks.
The successful candidate will gain practical experience in project financial management, cost reporting, forecasting, financial controls, auditing, and business partnering. Working alongside experienced finance professionals, the role will provide exposure to a large-scale construction projects and the financial disciplines required to deliver them successfully.
