Lookers Audi North Shields Paint & Body Centre is seeking a skilled Cosmetic Repair Technician to perform high-quality SMART repairs and cosmetic vehicle work. You will handle preparation, refinishing and repair methods to exact manufacturer standards while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience as Cosmetic Repair Technician, SMART Repair Technician or Paint Technician.
• Knowledge of vehicle preparation, paint application and cosmetic repair techniques.
• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Commitment to quality workmanship and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cosmetic vehicle repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Perform SMART repairs, including paintwork, bumper repairs, alloy wheel refurbishment and minor bodywork repairs.
• Prepare vehicles for painting and complete refinishing work as required.
• Assess vehicle damage and determine the most effective repair method.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment.
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to agreed quality standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.

Salary: £34,000 basic salary, realistic OTE of £50,000.
Hours: 42 hours per week -Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4.30pm - Friday 7.30am - 4.00pm

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Cosmetic Repair Technician to join our busy Paint & Body Centre. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a premium automotive brand, delivering exceptional cosmetic repairs and maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

What you’ll need

• Previous experience as a Cosmetic Repair Technician, SMART Repair Technician or Paint Technician.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle preparation, paint application and cosmetic repair techniques.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Positive attitude with a commitment to quality workmanship and customer service.
