VADOC is seeking a licensed practical nurse to provide evidence-based nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse in a correctional setting. Responsibilities include screening sick calls, administering medications, and delivering first aid and basic life support to inmates and staff.

You will maintain medical records, coordinate with security and treatment staff, and contribute to treatment plans.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with valid LPN license
• Working knowledge of practical/general nursing care principles and techniques
• Ability to screen complaints and refer to medical professionals
• Ability to document, provide first aid, and carry out orders
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and administer nursing care
• BLS certification through AHA/ARC required upon hire
