Corporate Tax Supervisor

You will be mentored through our one-to-one coaching model, to develop your career path, and will be involved in projects for locally based clients, including Top 100 NI businesses, as well as UK subsidiaries of large international groups.

As a Corporate Tax Supervisor, you will primarily be working in a Corporate Tax compliance role, assisting with the preparation of complex returns, as well as getting exposure to managing a portfolio of standalone companies and small groups in a reviewer role, helping trainees to develop their knowledge and skillset. You will also have the opportunity to get involved in advisory projects across a diverse range of clients, supporting and being mentored by managers and directors within a growing Corporate Tax team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of complex corporate tax returns.
• Review corporate tax compliance work for standalone companies and small groups.
• Manage a portfolio of corporate tax clients, ensuring compliance deadlines are met.
• Support and mentor trainees, helping them develop their tax knowledge and skills.
• Gain exposure to advisory projects across a diverse client base.
• Work closely with managers and directors, receiving mentorship within a growing Corporate Tax team.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

We’re looking for a proactive and driven tax professional with excellent technical knowledge and a passion for delivering high-quality client service.

You will have the requisite technical skills that will enable you to confidently mentor junior team members and prepare tax returns for the larger more complex groups, coupled with a CTA / ACA qualification (or equivalent).
