Job summary

Creative Tax Recruitment is recruiting a Corporate Tax Senior Manager in Preston to lead a growing North West tax team. You will manage your own portfolio and deliver senior-level advisory work, including restructurings, acquisitions and disposals, along with tax due diligence and exit planning.

You will collaborate with specialists in international tax, R&D, Patent Box and transfer pricing, while building senior client relationships and coaching junior staff.

Qualifications

• CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification expected.
• Experience at Senior Manager level or equivalent in corporate tax.

Responsibilities

• Manage own portfolio and lead complex advisory work including restructurings and disposals.
• Lead advisory on acquisitions, tax due diligence, succession and exit planning.
• Collaborate with international tax, R&D, Patent Box and transfer pricing teams.
• Develop senior client relationships and identify opportunities for growth.

Corporate Tax Senior Manager | Preston | More Ownership, More Influence

You’ve built the technical Corporate Tax experience. The next move should give you the opportunity to use it at a more senior level.

This Senior Manager position sits within a growing North West tax team at a leading UK accountancy firm, working with businesses ranging from owner-managed and family companies through to larger UK and international groups.

You’ll manage your own portfolio and lead complex advisory work, including restructuring, acquisitions and disposals, tax due diligence, succession and exit planning. You’ll also work alongside specialists across international tax, R&D, Patent Box, transfer pricing and other technical areas.

But the attraction here is the level of responsibility.

You’ll work closely with Partners, develop senior client relationships, spot opportunities for additional advisory work and help raise the profile of the Corporate Tax team locally and regionally. You’ll also take responsibility for developing junior members of the team through coaching and technical support.

The role could work particularly well for an experienced Manager looking to make the move to Senior Manager, as well as someone already at Senior Manager level who wants greater involvement in growth and business development.

CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification is expected.
