Job summary

Confidential Professional Services Firm in Leeds is recruiting a Corporate Tax Senior to join its growing tax team. You will handle corporation tax computations, liaise with clients and HMRC, and mentor junior staff.

The role offers exposure to advisory work and ongoing compliance, with opportunities to develop skills in R&D tax credits and tax planning within a collaborative, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience in corporate tax within practice.
• Experience with tax software (e.g. Alphatax) advantageous.
• Interest in developing advisory experience.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Proactive and able to manage deadlines effectively.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and submitting corporation tax computations for a varied portfolio.
• Supporting clients with ongoing compliance requirements.
• Assisting with R&D tax credit claims.
• Identifying tax planning opportunities and supporting advisory work.
• Liaising with clients and HMRC on tax matters.
• Supporting employment-related tax filings and ad hoc queries.
• Mentoring and supporting junior team members.
