Position: Corporate Tax Specialist
Key Responsibilities
- Manage corporation tax planning, forecasting, and modelling to maintain efficiency during periods of increased capital expenditure.
- Complete and review tax returns for submission to HMRC and handle related queries.
- Liaise with Thames Water teams, Kemble Group companies, and Water UK peers on all corporation tax matters.
- Ensure compliance with tax aspects of securitised financing arrangements.
- Handle regulatory tax reporting, including responding to Ofwat queries and providing tax input into the Ofwat Price Review.
- Manage tax accounting and reporting for management and statutory purposes, including tax consolidations and SAO review.
- Supervise and develop the Corporate Tax Advisor.
Location and Hours
Base Location: Reading - Hybrid working
Working Pattern: 36 hours per week
Candidate Requirements
- Confident communicator at all business levels.
- Detail-oriented with a strategic overview to benefit Kemble Group.
- Ability to work autonomously and escalate issues appropriately.
- Experience in supervising and developing staff.
- Exposure to infrastructure or asset-intensive industries.
- Preferably in-house experience, post-qualified.
