Job summary

TPF Recruitment in Kent is seeking a Corporate Tax Manager for a well established firm of chartered accountants. You will lead corporate tax advisory and compliance for complex client groups, mentoring junior staff and contributing to mergers, acquisitions and due diligence projects.

The role offers a generous salary band (£55,000 - £70,000), on-site parking and a comprehensive benefits package including holiday and pension, a discretionary 15% bonus and a profit share scheme.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/ATT/CTA/STEP qualified, or qualified by experience in corporate or mixed tax.
• Advisory/planning tax experience in an accounting or tax boutique firm.
• Background across firms from small to top-tier, seeking career development.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with tax advisory work including EIS and share schemes.
• Helping with mergers, acquisitions, reorganisations and tax due diligence.
• Preparation of R&D tax relief claims.
• Preparing corporation tax computations and returns for larger, more complex companies/groups.
• Overseeing and reviewing the more basic corporation tax compliance function to ensure deadlines are met.
• Supervision of more junior members of staff.

Based in Faversham, Kent, we’re supporting a highly respected, well established and fast growing firm of chartered accountants who are recruiting for a Corporate Tax Manager to join their experienced and very successful tax team.

• Assisting with tax advisory work including EIS and share schemes
• Helping with Mergers, acquisitions, reorganisations and tax due diligence

Requirements

• ACA/ACCA/ATT/CTA/STEP qualified, or qualified by experience with a career background in corporate tax or with a mixed tax background
• Advisory/planning tax experience, gained within an accounting firm, or tax boutique firm of any size
• Background developed within a firm of any size, from small independent through to Top Tier firm background, looking for a career move offering development and progression potential
