Your Role

• Experience working in one of Yorkshire’s largest in-house tax teams.
• This role offers the opportunity to advise and influence a major UK supermarket retailer.
• Support from the Head of Tax to handle a broad range of tax matters including transaction tax, R&D, HMRC enquiries, Transfer Pricing, and tax compliance including IFRS tax accounting.
• Opportunity to develop skills and experience within an established tax team and to broaden understanding across the retail environment.
• Work beyond finance into wider business areas, gaining exposure to changing tax legislation affecting decision-making at ASDA.

Candidate Profile

• Qualified tax manager, ideally with ACA or CTA qualification.
• Strong corporate tax background, including experience with corporation tax computations and disclosures for statutory accounts.

Additional Information

Hybrid working model with a minimum of 3 days in the office per week, with possible additional days depending on role requirements.
