Job description

TPF Recruitment, Surrey's leading accountancy practice recruitment agency, is currently supporting a market-leading firm of chartered accountants based in Guildford, known for its strong reputation and national presence.

We are recruiting for a Corporate Tax Manager to join their dynamic tax team in an exciting and progressive role. This position involves providing tax compliance and advisory services to a diverse client portfolio. The main responsibility is managing all aspects related to client portfolios, along with offering advisory services. The team handles various business tax areas, including business reconstructions, demergers, corporate tax advisory, capital allowances, EIS and SEIS, R&D, and share options. There will be opportunities to develop expertise in multiple areas, with support and training provided to enhance your technical knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee tax compliance services and provide advisory support to a broad client base.
  • Support niche advisory areas based on your experience and aspirations.
  • Manage a substantial and interesting client portfolio.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Guide, supervise, and mentor less experienced team members.
  • Support continuous improvement and champion change within the team.
  • Lead complex projects.

Requirements:

  • CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
  • Up-to-date, in-depth knowledge of taxation, capable of handling complex tax issues.
  • Experience in project and staff management.
  • Ability to manage a substantial client portfolio effectively.
  • A competitive salary, aligned with the London market, dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
