An established specialist tax consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Corporate Tax Compliance Manager or Senior Manager to take responsibility for a substantial and growing corporation tax compliance portfolio.

This is an opportunity to join a highly regarded South Manchester tax practice, working alongside an experienced team of tax professionals. The role offers considerable autonomy, responsibility for managing workflow and developing junior colleagues, and the opportunity to play a key role in the continued expansion of the firm's compliance services.

Corporate Tax Compliance Manager - About the Firm

Corporate Tax Compliance Manager - Responsibilities

Working closely with senior tax professionals and colleagues across the wider group, you will take responsibility for managing a corporate tax compliance portfolio with recurring fees exceeding £500,000.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a substantial portfolio of corporate tax compliance clients, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of services.
• Reviewing corporation tax computations and returns, ensuring compliance with current legislation.
• Overseeing workflow, allocating assignments and managing deadlines across the compliance team.
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients, providing technical guidance and responding to corporation tax queries.
• Supervising, mentoring and developing junior colleagues undertaking CTA and ACA/CTA qualifications.
• Liaising with colleagues across the national group to coordinate compliance work and ensure consistent service delivery.
• Supporting improvements to systems, processes and efficiencies as the compliance function continues to expand.

Corporate Tax Compliance Manager - Requirements

The firm is looking for an experienced corporate tax professional with strong technical knowledge, excellent organisational skills and the ability to take ownership of a busy compliance function.

Ideally, you will have:

• CTA, ACA or ACCA qualification, or equivalent professional experience.
• A strong background in corporate tax compliance within an accountancy practice or specialist tax consultancy.
• Experience managing a substantial compliance portfolio and reviewing corporation tax computations and returns.
• The ability to organise workflow, manage competing deadlines and maintain high technical standards.
• Experience supervising and developing junior colleagues.
