BMW Group UK is offering a 13 month placement in Corporate Strategy starting July 2027 in Farnborough. You will join the Strategy team, providing support across multiple projects and activities, with exposure to key strategic initiatives and monthly KPI reporting.

The role requires pursuing a bachelor’s degree with a 2:1 or above in a relevant discipline, a commercial mindset and strong analytical abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with 2:1 or above.
• Commercial background with some working experience.
• Creative and analytical thinker with strong numerical, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Excellent report writing, communication skills and attention to detail.
• Strong team player with research/consulting experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Analyze business, market and industry trends to identify opportunities and risks.
• Manage monthly KPI tracking and business reports.

BMW UK, National Sales Company, Farnborough - Corporate Strategy - 13 Month Placement (July 2027)

We are looking for a student to join our Strategy team for 13 months starting July 2027. This is a diverse and interesting role where you’ll provide support to the team in several activities and projects. The strategy team is responsible for the implementation of the key strategic initiatives of the company.

What will you be doing?

• Strategic cross-functional interactions across multiple disciplines in the business
• Analysis of business, market and industry-specific trends, utilising the conclusions from the analysis to identify business opportunities and risks.
• Project Management support for the resulting strategic concepts, e.g. previous interns have supported the business transition through Brexit and the market implementation of the BMW Group electric vehicle strategy.
• Preparation of monthly KPI tracking and business reports.
• Management and control of organisation charts.

Qualifications and experience

• Studying for a bachelor’s degree and on track to achieve a 2:1 or above in a relevant discipline such as, but not limited to, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Finance and Business, Business Management, Strategy
• Commercial background with some experience in a working environment
• Creative and analytical thinker and able to analyse facts and summarise.
• Able to solve problems in a logical way.
• Commercially focused with strong numerical, negotiation and influencing skills
• Excellent report writing, communication skills and attention to detail.
• Strong team player with ideally some researching/ consulting experience.
