Job Description:

Our client, a Top City law firm, has a fantastic opportunity for a Corporate Solicitor on a fixed-term contract basis in London (City).

Responsibilities:

• Assist with a variety of corporate transactional matters, including:
• Large-scale corporate transactions and managing smaller ones, focusing on:
• M&A transactions
• Capital markets work
• Investment work (acting for angel investors, founders/companies, VCs), working with entrepreneurs and early-stage ventures

Negotiate aspects of corporate transactions and draft relevant documentation. Provide advice on corporate law areas such as re-organisations, capital reductions, share buybacks, shareholder agreements, JV agreements, share option schemes, directors’ duties, and governance issues. Take ownership of technical documents like sale and purchase agreements and prospectuses.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ PQE with experience in a Corporate/Commercial department of a law firm.

The firm offers flexible working arrangements, including 4 or 5 days a week, with potential for fully remote work, though a hybrid basis is preferred. They also provide excellent benefits and promote a healthy work/life balance.
