Job summary

G2 Legal Limited is recruiting a junior corporate solicitor for its Leicester practice. The role suits 0–3 years' PQE with exposure to mergers and acquisitions, company sales, reorganisations, shareholder arrangements and governance for a range of clients from startups to SMEs.

You will support transactions end-to-end, conduct due diligence and draft/negotiates documents while developing client relationships and benefiting from high-quality workload and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years' PQE in corporate law.
• Strong drafting and analytical skills.
• Commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Ability to develop trusted relationships with clients and contacts.

Corporate Solicitor - Leicester

My client is a leading East Midlands Legal 500 firm with a growing Leicester-based corporate team that is looking to appoint a junior corporate solicitor to join its expanding practice.

The caseload would ideally suit a junior level solicitor with somewhere between 0-3 years' PQE and will comprise of mergers and acquisitions, company and business sales, corporate reorganisations, shareholder arrangements, governance and general company law, advising clients ranging from entrepreneurs and start-ups to established SMEs, investors and larger businesses.

Day to day, you will support transactions from instruction through to completion, undertaking legal due diligence, preparing and negotiating transactional documentation, and providing practical advice to directors, shareholders and business owners.

You will also have the opportunity to work on succession planning, restructuring and strategic projects.

Necessary for the role will be strong drafting and analytical skills, together with commercial awareness, attention to detail and the confidence to develop trusted relationships with clients and professional contacts.
