Job Description:

In this high-profile security officer role, you'll ensure the security and safety of people and premises at prestigious client sites.

An experienced Security Officer, with exceptional customer focus, will carry out duties including:

• Managing access control for buildings and car parks for employees, visitors, and contractors
• Patrolling buildings, car parks, and grounds to deter and detect problems
• Responding to customer requests and queries
• Checking and challenging ID passes professionally and friendly
• Deactivating and activating alarms
• Unlocking and locking buildings, rooms, external barriers, and gates to prevent unauthorized access
• Identifying and reporting Health & Safety issues and providing first aid if necessary
• Maintaining incident reports using computer and paper systems

This ad hoc position covers annual leave and absences, with hours varying but typically 12-hour shifts day and night, Monday to Sunday. Flexibility to support colleagues is required.

Substantial experience as a Corporate Security Officer is essential, along with:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service, teamwork, and collaboration skills
• Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure
• Clear and succinct reporting skills
• IT and administrative skills including MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Willingness to undertake training
• An SIA Door Supervision (DS) or Security Guarding (SG) license
• Five years' checkable history and references
• Ability to pass a criminal records check (CRC)

Useful but not essential qualifications include:

• First Aid at Work qualification
• Automated External Defibrillator (AED) qualification
