Science Museum Group is seeking a Corporate Relationships Manager (Membership) to lead the STEM Circle. This fixed-term role focuses on account management, delivering member benefits, renewals and growth opportunities across a network of corporate partners.
You'll plan events, produce impactful reports, and work with internal teams to ensure a superb partner experience. Experience with high-value partnerships and CRM systems is advantageous.
Do you have experience building strong corporate relationships and delivering an excellent experience for partners? Could you lead a membership programme that connects businesses with the Science Museum Group's mission to inspire futures?
About us
The Science Museum Group encompasses the Science Museum, the National Railway Museum, the Science and Industry Museum, the National Science and Media Museum, Locomotion and the Science and Innovation Park, making us one of the world's leading groups of science museums.
Corporate partnerships play an important role in helping us deliver our ambitious programme of galleries, exhibitions and learning experiences. They also give businesses meaningful opportunities to engage their employees, reach new audiences and support the next generation's relationship with science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
We're now looking for a Corporate Relationships Manager to lead the delivery of the Science Museum's corporate membership programme, the STEM Circle, on a fixed-term contract until September 2027.
About the role
As Corporate Relationships Manager (Membership), you'll take the lead on managing the STEM Circle programme and building strong, lasting relationships with its corporate members.
You'll provide a high level of account management, helping members make the most of their benefits while identifying opportunities to secure renewals and grow their relationship with the Science Museum Group. This will involve regular meetings with partners, coordinating membership activities and producing engaging reports and renewal proposals that demonstrate the impact of their support.
You'll also plan and deliver key moments in the STEM Circle calendar, including an annual STEM skills fair and Early Careers networking event. Working closely with colleagues across Events, Fundraising & Partnerships and the wider Group, you'll make sure each activity is delivered smoothly and provides an excellent experience for members and their employees.
This is a varied role combining relationship management, events, programme delivery and strategic development. It offers the opportunity to shape a growing membership programme while helping corporate partners support and engage with the Science Museum Group's mission.
About you
You'll have experience cultivating and account managing business relationships, with the ability to understand what matters to different partners and shape your approach around their priorities.
An effective and confident communicator, you'll be comfortable working with senior stakeholders and collaborating with colleagues at different levels. You'll bring a high level of customer service and be able to build trusted relationships that support renewals, repeat business and longer-term partnership opportunities.
You'll be organised and proactive, with the ability to manage several projects and deadlines at once. You'll also have experience producing high-quality reports, proposals and presentations and be comfortable supporting the planning and delivery of events.
Experience of managing high-value or high-profile corporate partnerships, securing five or six-figure income, or using a CRM system such as Tessitura would be beneficial, but isn't essential. Experience of the planning and logistics involved in the delivery and/or support of events would also be desirable.
Most importantly, you'll bring creativity, drive and a solution-focused approach, alongside a genuine commitment to helping us build an open and inclusive organisation.
Don't feel you meet all the criteria? We welcome you to apply even if your experience doesn't match directly. With your transferable skills, you could be the right candidate for this or another opportunity with us.
Working with a world-leading museum group that offers access to truly unique environments and collections, you'll benefit from the perks listed below, as well as full support for life events such as parental and adoption leave, sickness, and career breaks.
Open for All is one of the Science Museum Group's five core values and sets out our important aspiration to be a place for everyone. We are working hard to understand our organisation better and to develop a culture that recognises and values different backgrounds, mindsets, skills, experience, knowledge, and expertise. By having greater diversity, we believe that we will be a stronger and better organisation, capable to continue to Inspire Futures.
