ENL Legal Recruitment is seeking a Corporate Paralegal in Walsall to support a Legal 500-ranked corporate team. You will assist with mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, and commercial contracts, drafting and due diligence, and liaising with clients and external advisers.

You will work alongside solicitors and partners, developing experience across corporate transactions and related administrative tasks in a collaborative, professional environment.

Qualifications

• Paralegal experience within corporate or corporate and commercial teams is preferred.
• Excellent organisational skills to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain an effective diary system.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident in building professional relationships with clients, colleagues and external stakeholders.
• Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to work collaboratively while using initiative to progress matters independently.
• A law degree, CILEx qualification or equivalent would be advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Support solicitors and partners on mergers, acquisitions, business sales and purchases, restructurings and commercial contract matters.
• Draft, amend and proofread legal documents.
• Assist with due diligence exercises and manage electronic data rooms.
• Support transaction completions and post-completion processes.
• Maintain transaction checklists, action lists and completion timetables.
• Prepare completion bibles and electronic transaction records.
• Prepare and submit Companies House filings.
• Liaise with clients, accountants, financial advisers, lenders and external solicitors.
• Ensure matters progress efficiently and in line with firm procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Provide wider administrative and legal support to the corporate team.
