Job summary

Hill Dickinson LLP in Leeds is seeking a Corporate Associate with 2–4 years PQE to join the fast-growing corporate team. The role centers on Mergers & Acquisitions work and would suit ambitious lawyers looking to progress quickly within a supportive national presence.

You will work on transactions across mergers, acquisitions, equity matters, and corporate restructurings, with exposure to due diligence, deal documentation, and client-facing work.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with 2–4 years PQE.
• Strong technical skills and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Able to independently manage a caseload and provide sound commercial advice.
• Willingness to work outside normal office hours if required.

Responsibilities

• Supporting on mergers or acquisitions or disposal transactions for corporate clients.
• Supporting/leading acquisition and disposal of business and assets and/or shares.
• Supporting on public company transactions, such as IPOs or equity fundraisers.
• Supporting/leading due diligence exercises, data room reviews or management and disclosure processes.
• Preparation and finalisation of disclosure letters and supporting bundles.
• Supporting on and reviewing investment documents for investing institutions or management teams on PE backed transactions.
• Drafting and negotiating the terms of transaction ancillary documents.
• General corporate work including restructurings, shareholders agreements, joint ventures and LLC agreements.
• Assisting with business development and tenders including research about clients and targets.
• Opportunities for early exposure to clients.
