Job Description:

This position is responsible for meeting the goals and objectives of the organization by acting as the company Legal Counsel supporting the organization’s operations in Europe.

Essential Duties and Tasks

• Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial documents, including supply, purchase, non-disclosure, service, energy, and joint development agreements.
• Manage corporate entity filings and governance procedures for operations in the UK, Ireland, and as necessary, Germany and Switzerland.
• Advise on competition law aspects of agreements and initiatives.
• Support M&A integration by harmonizing company policies, practices, and operations.
• Provide counsel on import/export and trade compliance issues.
• Ensure data privacy compliance, including GDPR.
• Advise on ESG, anti-bribery/anti-corruption, and modern slavery compliance.
• Handle customer and supplier quality claims.
• Manage outside counsel relationships.
• Collaborate with legal, HR, sales, procurement, quality, and other teams.

Qualifications, Education and Experience

• Solicitor or international equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 8 years of proven experience, including at least 2 years in-house and in large law firm practice.
• Manufacturing experience and knowledge of accounting governance preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
