The Opportunity

We are looking for a strong 3-5 PQE Lawyer to join our highly successful Corporate practice group, with a predominant focus on capital raising and M&A.

We act for an incredibly diverse client base, helping them with a broad range of legal needs including sale and purchase of businesses, shareholder agreements, capital raising (pre-seed/seed/Series A/Series B rounds and beyond), share buy-backs, business structuring, loans and corporate governance. You will work alongside a team of exceptional corporate lawyers as well as our Growth, Tech and Marketing teams to deliver quality work and an exceptional experience to every client you interact with.

This position is ideal for a mid-level lawyer with a capital raising and/or M&A specialisation and broad corporate law expertise. You should have experience in efficiently managing workflows and projects in a fast paced, high volume environment, and effectively communicating with clients.

We'd love for the successful candidate to be based in Manchester, but we're happy to consider remote work options for the right person.

The Ideal Candidate

• Experienced: At least 3 years of corporate law experience in a reputable law firm, with a specific focus on capital raising and/or M&A.
• Attentive: Brilliant attention to detail - nothing ever slips through the cracks.
• Efficient: Prioritises effectively, focuses on what matters and works productively.
• Commercial: Demonstrates business acumen and cares about business growth (including helping to grow LegalVision further).
• Collaborative: Gets a kick out of working with smart, fun and passionate people and learning from them. Ideally someone who can come into our Manchester office, but hybrid working opportunities available.
• Adaptable: Grasps new concepts quickly, improves every day and goes with the flow.
• Service Orientated: Loves assisting clients and providing an amazing experience.
• Optimistic: Sees the best in situations, is solutions focused and never gives up.
