Job description

Our client, a global professional services company, is seeking an Investigations Lead for a 7-8 month contract role.

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with senior leadership to assess and mitigate legal risks associated with investigations.
• Manage investigative teams handling reported allegations.
• Oversee notification, recording, and reporting processes related to investigations.
• Oversee internal and external resources to investigate complex misconduct allegations, including defining scope, notifying personnel, conducting interviews, and compiling reports.
• Manage investigation teams to ensure timely reviews, trend reporting, and strategic decision-making.
• Develop processes for identifying investigation trends and updating data reports.
• Make strategic decisions impacting the Corporate Investigations group.
• Implement the global investigation strategy set by the Global Director.
• Provide legal advice on risk and remedial actions to senior leadership.
• Coordinate with Compliance Program leads and law enforcement agencies.
• Support and train investigative personnel.
• Stay updated on legal developments affecting investigations and compliance standards.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 7 years’ experience in conducting and supervising investigations, including:

• Financial fraud and Code of Business Ethics investigations.
• Regulatory and governmental investigations.
• Drafting legal reports and advising on compliance risks.
• Experience with litigation, including employment-related cases.
