Job summary

Cowgills, part of the Sumer Group, is seeking an commercially driven Executive to join the Corporate Finance team in Manchester. This role focuses on leading corporate finance transactions, building client and advisor relationships, and supporting growth across sell side deals with private equity exposure.

You will work with senior colleagues to deliver projects from inception to completion, contributing to pitches and collaborating across the team to add value for clients and partners.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent), ideally with first time passes.
• Strong financial analysis and Excel skills.
• Confident in presenting and articulating findings.
• Experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage corporate finance transactions from inception to completion.
• Build strong relationships with clients and advisors.
• Work predominantly on sell side transactions, with private equity exposure.
• Contribute to pitch meetings and support the teams ongoing growth.
• Collaborate across Corporate Finance with colleagues.
• Support Partners and Senior Managers on project delivery.
• Research and analyse transactions and sector trends.
• Prepare financial valuation models and analyses.
• Prepare information memorandums for marketing businesses.
