Zanda is partnering with a Series A-funded AI infrastructure scale-up and seeks a senior finance professional to own the three-statement model, long-range planning and equity/debt processes. You will work with the Finance Director and CFO to shape forecasting, budgets and investor materials.

You will build trusted financial models across currencies, engage with lenders, and influence strategic decisions in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Two or more years in investment banking, corporate finance or a transaction services or modelling team.
• Track record of building complex three-statement models from scratch.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint, with experience producing board-ready or investor-ready material.
• Confidently explaining a model and its assumptions to non-finance stakeholders.
• Self-starter energy with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable in a fast, changing environment; ready for after-hours when needed.
• Notice period of one month or less.

Responsabilités

• Own the Group’s three-statement model, forecast cycle and long-range plan across multiple entities and currencies.

• Work on live Series B and debt financing, including lender models, debt structuring and investor materials.
• Model a CapEx-heavy business at scale with depreciation and debt service considerations.
• Translate variance and performance analysis into clear CFO-ready recommendations.
• Shape how an AI-first finance team uses AI, Power BI and advanced Excel in forecasting and reporting.
• Support from deal-side modelling to strategic valuation insights.

WHY THIS COMPANY AND ROLE

Zanda is partnering with a Series A-funded AI infrastructure scale-up that's growing internationally. Revenue is already north of £60m, headcount is set to double over the next 12 months, and the business is raising a Series B alongside asset-backed debt to fund its next wave of growth.

This role reports to the Finance Director and is the most important hire in a small strategic finance team that has been built from scratch over the past 18 months. You will own the Group’s three-statement model and long-range plan, and you will be part of the equity and debt process from your first week. It suits someone from investment banking or corporate finance who loves building models and wants to see them drive real decisions inside a business. Processes are still being written and priorities move quickly, so it will not suit anyone who needs a defined brief or a fixed rhythm to do their best work.

WHAT YOU WILL GAIN

• Owning the Group’s three-statement model, forecast cycle and long-range plan across multiple entities and currencies
• Building a model the whole business trusts as its single source of truth, with proper structure and integrity checks
• Working directly on a live Series B and debt financing, including lender models, debt structuring and investor materials
• Modelling a CapEx-heavy business at scale: GPU cohorts, utilisation, pricing, depreciation and debt service
• Turning variance and performance analysis into clear recommendations for the CFO and leadership team
• Shaping how an AI-first finance team uses AI, Power BI and advanced Excel in forecasting and reporting
• Moving from deal-side modelling into industry, with the exposure to see first‑hand how a business scales its valuation

ABOUT YOU

• Two or more years in investment banking, corporate finance or a transaction services or modelling team, at analyst to associate level or above
• A track record of building complex three-statement models from scratch, not only maintaining existing ones
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint, with experience producing board‑ready or investor‑ready material
• The confidence to explain a model and its assumptions in plain English to non‑finance stakeholders
• Self‑starter energy: you pick up loosely defined problems, decide what good looks like and deliver it with minimal supervision
• Comfortable with a fast, changing environment where urgent questions sometimes land outside normal hours
• Notice period of one month or less

Advantageous

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CFA qualification
• Exposure to infrastructure, data centre, energy, telecoms or other CapEx‑heavy sectors, or project finance
• Experience of debt fundraising, lender models or asset‑backed financing
• Experience in a high‑growth start‑up or scale‑up
• NetSuite or Power BI experience
