Job summary

Chris Hayes Associates in the East Midlands is seeking a Corporate Finance Manager to lead transactions end-to-end, from MBOs/MBIs to acquisitions and disposals, with responsibility for preparing businesses for sale and guiding clients through completion.

The ideal candidate is ACA qualified with several years’ post-qualification experience in deals, a proven Corporate Finance track record, and the ability to engage senior stakeholders with technical and commercial insight.

Qualifications

• ACA Chartered Accountant with post-qualification experience in a deals environment.
• Proven track record in Corporate Finance or other transaction-focused role.
• Strong technical and commercial skills, with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders.
• Dynamic, entrepreneurial professional ready to make an impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end transactions from MBOs/MBIs to acquisitions and disposals.
• Prepare businesses for sale and support PE-backed growth plans.
• Research, approach and assess potential buyers; manage bids.
• Steer clients through legal and completion stages of deals.
• Build and maintain deep client relationships as a trusted advisor.

In this role, you’ll be right at the heart of exciting transactions – from MBOs and MBIs through to acquisitions, disposals, and strategic advisory work. You’ll have the opportunity to shape deals end-to-end: preparing businesses for sale, supporting PE-backed growth plans, researching and approaching buyers, assessing bids, and steering clients through legal and completion stages.
